london festival of bulgarian culture
Ivo, Vania, and Lachezar Stankov founded the London Festival of Bulgarian Culture in 2010. In its four successful editions held biannually between 2010 and 2016, the Festival focused on presenting and highlighting Bulgaria's little known musical heritage to audiences in London.
Over 300 performers were invited from across the world to perform to enthusiastic audiences at several London venues including the Barbican, Cadogan Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and St. John’s Smith Square. Star performers including violinist Nigel Kennedy participated alongside some of London’s finest orchestras such as the English Chamber Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Philharmonia Orchestra and Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
